In this talk, we will look at how creative management styles and collaborative team structures can help build and sustain diverse teams. Both managers and team members will learn strategies for improving communication as a way of fostering inclusion. We will explore how individual contributors can look for managers who will foster professional growth. I'll present lessons learned from experience in several organizations and through multiple career transitions including from a business analyst/data analyst working mostly in SQL queries and Excel plugins, to a DevOps Engineer working with various automation tools. This talk is open to all levels.
