Search functionality is a critical technology component to Wolters Kluwer Legal and Regulatory, a leading provider of intelligent information and electronic solutions in key specialty areas for legal and business compliance professionals and expert educational resources for law students and professors. The search functionality provided by one of Wolters Kluwer's customer facing applications was slow, had limited functionality, and inhibited the rapid rollout of new capabilities. By leveraging MongoDB, Wolters Kluwer improved the customer experience of their next generation application by enhancing search performance and quality while at the same time providing for development agility.
